Since Hanma engine is the major featured product of CAMC, it is introduced as a highlight and gets much attention of customer representatives. Liu Hanru, president of CAMC, said that Hanma engine had already been into trail promotion in domestic markets at the beginning of 2013. By now over 1,000 Hanma products had already been into the markets, from which low-speed high-torque, cylinder brake and fuel efficiency were outstanding and stable. Its high reliability was favored by lots of customers, which meant it was a successful high-end engine.
Since Xinjiang is of rich natural gas resource and huge natural gas heavy truck market, Liu Hanru held the idea that the next key part was natural gas heavy truck of Xinjiang promotion. CAMC is the earliest enterprise developing natural gas heavy truck and getting it into markets. In 2008, CAMC achieved 1,000 natural gas heavy trucks exported to Thailand, which was the largest order of natural gas heavy truck export in that year. Our LNG heavy truck has already completed product line in 2012 and begins to show increasing trend in the first half of 2013. It only spends five months to exceed the total sales of last year.
CAMC is completely confident with Xinjiang market. He Xiaosheng, GM of CAMC Marketing Branch, said that their developing process of Xinjiang market was late. So they integrated sale channels, developed new markets and got breakthrough. In the first half year, heavy trucks were sold over 200 units and mixers were sold more than 150 units. Sales of this year were outstanding but leaving quite huge space to improve. The activity could start developing process of Xinjiang market which would gain more and more investment and market developing endeavor. In the following three to five years CAMC strived to become the leading brand within Xinjiang heavy vehicle market.
