The 20th China (Liangshan) Special Purpose Vehicle Exhibition opened grandly

On September 20, 2024, the 20th China (Liangshan) Special Purpose Vehicle Exhibition was held at the Liangshan International Convention and Exhibition Center in Shandong. With the theme of "Building Brands, Casting Quality, Seeking Transformation - Undeterred for 20 Years, Determined for the Next 20 Years", this exhibition was hosted by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers and the Shandong Automobile Industry Association and undertaken by the Liangshan Automobile Industry Association. The overall exhibition area reached 100,000 square meters, with 360 complete vehicles exhibited and more than 1,000 spare parts booths, setting a record high. At the exhibition site, innovative technologies such as intelligent control systems, environmentally friendly and energy-saving new materials, and foreign trade export exhibition areas became highlights.
Since the start of Liangshan's special-purpose vehicle industry in 1982, the Liangshan County Party Committee and the County Government have always attached great importance to it, supporting it with policies, innovating services, optimizing the environment, and accelerating the transformation and upgrading of the industry. After 42 years of development, Liangshan's special-purpose vehicle industry has grown into a special-purpose vehicle industry cluster integrating production and manufacturing, automobile trade, logistics and transportation, and service industries, with an annual output of 350,000 special-purpose vehicles, and the output of special-purpose vehicles for road transport accounts for one-third of the national market. The trade volume and export volume of used commercial vehicles are both ranked first in the country.
In recent years, around the national "Belt and Road" development strategy, the Liangshan County Automobile Industry Association spontaneously formed the "Liangxin Alliance" to lead the way overseas. It has now occupied 56 countries in the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Africa, South America, etc., built 5 overseas factories, created a 1,000-acre overseas industrial park, and co-operated 3 overseas warehouses. This year's exhibition also specially set up a foreign trade export car exhibition area, attracting more than 30 foreign companies to negotiate and place orders at the exhibition site. With the continuous improvement of the influence of the exhibition, this year's exhibition has more well-known companies and more participating models. Models such as Mercedes-Benz heavy trucks, Geely New Energy, and parts from well-known foreign companies such as the Netherlands Hyva and the United States Firestone will all be unveiled.
Yao Jie, Chief Supervisor and Executive Deputy Secretary General of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, said in his speech that this year marks the 20th anniversary of the successful holding of the Liangshan Special Automobile Exhibition. After 20 years of efforts, the Liangshan Special Automobile Exhibition has developed into an important display platform for the national special automobile industry, which not only showcases the achievements of China's special automobile industry, but also provides a weather vane for the development trend of the global special automobile industry. In particular, the "Liangxin Alliance" strictly selects products, abandons the price war of internal competition, takes quality as the lifeline, and jointly with PICC underwriting, providing a one-stop service platform for overseas customers to choose high-end and reliable products.

It has become a famous special-purpose vehicle industry base in China. It has not only built a special-purpose vehicle industry cluster of considerable scale, but also has a second-hand special-purpose vehicle trading market, innovative research and development, product testing and other service systems, setting an example for the development of special-purpose vehicles in China. In particular, the export products of Liangshan's special-purpose vehicle industry have attracted a large number of foreign merchants. Many foreign merchants came here to visit us and took the initiative to contact us. Some of them even settled in Liangshan three days before the opening ceremony. This is the exhibition with the strongest international color and the most foreign friends in the past 20 years. This not only brought a lot of overseas orders, but also created a good image for Liangshan's high-end manufacturing in the overseas market."
