Compared with passenger cars, commercial vehicles have the characteristics of "high energy consumption and high emissions". Although the number of vehicles is small, they consume 51% of China's automotive gasoline and diesel, produce 56% of all automotive carbon dioxide, and emit 80% of all automotive PM pollutants. The transformation of commercial vehicles to new energy has become a top priority for carbon reduction and emission reduction in the transportation industry. However, due to the complex and diverse usage scenarios of commercial vehicles, a single energy source is difficult to meet the operational needs of users. After years of market verification, methanol has become the optimal solution for the transformation of commercial vehicles to new energy due to its wide applicability and excellent environmental protection.
Relying on Geely's technology accumulation, Yuan Yuan, as China's first commercial vehicle group focusing on the new energy field, has forward-looking layout and created a strategic technology route with alcohol-hydrogen electric characteristics, achieving 1.8L-15L alcohol-hydrogen engine displacement and 100-600 horsepower.
