October 25, 2023, Hong Kong, China, On the afternoon of October 19, Shandong Heavy Industry Group and Vietnam's Long Hai Group signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement in Hong Kong. The signing ceremony was attended by Tan Xuguang, Chairman and General Manager of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, and Chen Boyang, Chairman of Long Hai Group. Tan Xuguang emphasized the significance of the Vietnamese market as a crucial strategic market for Shandong Heavy Industry Group in the coming 5-10 years within Southeast Asia. With decades of experience in the commercial vehicle sector, Shandong Heavy Industry Group is willing to share its unique insights into more than thirty submarkets. Guided by the principles of mutual benefit and win-win cooperation under the "Belt and Road" strategy, they aim to support Long Hai Group in achieving strategic transformation and upgrading, thus facilitating the high-quality development of Vietnam's automotive industry.

Chen Boyang expressed his admiration for Mr. Tan Xuguang's forward-thinking strategic vision. He hoped that Shandong Heavy Industry Group would further leverage its absolute advantages in powertrain products. They intend to expand cooperation between the two parties across a full range of commercial vehicles and explore new areas collaboratively, with the shared goal of creating top-tier products tailored to the Vietnamese market.

The strategic cooperation framework agreement was signed by Wang Zhijian, Vice General Manager of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, and Ruan Guangbao, General Manager of Long Hai Automotive, representing both parties.
