Iveco Chassis Foam Fire Truck Debuts at 2023 International Fire Equipment Expo

October 18, 2023, China, On October 10, 2023, the 20th China International Fire Equipment Technology Exchange Exhibition officially opened. Zhongzhuo Era brought multiple vehicle models to the exhibition, with a highlight being the AP15 compressed air foam fire truck built on an imported Iveco New Daily chassis.
This compressed air foam fire truck features an imported Iveco New Daily 7.0-ton chassis with a non-load-bearing structure, giving it excellent adaptability for modification and load-carrying capacity. The vehicle measures 5.88 meters in length, 2.18 meters in width, 2.66 meters in height, and has a wheelbase of 3.45 meters. Its compact size significantly enhances maneuverability in urban areas, and with a total weight of 7 tons, it can pass through small-tonnage bridges.
The imported Iveco New Daily is equipped with a 3.0-liter F1C diesel engine that delivers a maximum power of 180 horsepower and a peak torque of 430 Nm. Additionally, it comes with a 6-speed manual transmission, and, if needed, can be equipped with the Hi-Matic eight-speed automatic transmission.
The Zhongzhuo Era AP15 is a compressed air foam fire truck with a water capacity of 1,000 liters and class A foam capacity of 400 liters. It includes an integrated dry powder fire extinguisher, making it well-suited for handling various small-scale fires. The compressed air foam system effectively reduces the use of onboard fire extinguishing agents and enhances firefighting efficiency.
As a rare 7-ton product in the small-sized fire truck chassis category, the imported Iveco New Daily is not limited to urban primary fire trucks but also serves as the foundation for various fire truck types such as equipment fire trucks and fire command vehicles.
