July 7, 2023, South Africa, From June 27th to 29th, Zoomlion, together with its ZT125A mining truck, participated in The Big 5 Construct Southern Africa, marking its first appearance at a major industry event in South Africa.

As the largest construction industry exhibition in South Africa, The Big 5 Construct Southern Africa attracted over 10,000 visitors. Zoomlion showcased its leading position in equipment and technology for the South African mining market, demonstrating its comprehensive strength and brand image in complete mining equipment.

The exhibited ZT125A mining truck is equipped with a customized Yuchai high-power engine with a rated power of 426 kW, providing powerful and reliable performance. With a cargo volume of 34m³, it has a maximum payload capacity of 85 tons. The core components of this product are sourced from well-known brands, ensuring excellent operability and stability. At the exhibition, African mining customers praised Zoomlion for producing such large-tonnage mining trucks and showed strong interest in the product, resulting in numerous inquiries. Nearly 20 preliminary orders have been confirmed.

As one of the earliest Chinese equipment manufacturing companies to enter the African market, Zoomlion first established its presence on the continent in 2007. After more than a decade of dedicated efforts, Zoomlion has established a mature sales network, localized operations, and a stable support system for services and spare parts in the African market. Currently, Zoomlion has subsidiaries in Kenya, South Africa, Nigeria, and other countries. It has also set up a joint venture factory in Algeria and developed multiple local agents and distribution channels throughout Africa, offering comprehensive solutions to local customers, including sales, services, technology, and financing.
