March 31, 2023, Wuhan, China, The brand joint laboratory of Dongfeng Motor and China Automobile Technology and Research Center was officially unveiled in Wuhan on March 22, which will focus on the brand building of automobile enterprises in terms of brand monitoring data, real-time data models and services of technical brand hardware equipment and other aspects.

In recent years, Dongfeng has actively explored and practiced brand strategy formulation, high-end luxury brand building, technological brand cultivation, and brand management, and made breakthroughs to build a market-wide brand pattern covering luxury, high-end and mainstream products.

Dongfeng Motor and China Automobile Technology and Research Center will use the brand joint laboratory as a carrier to play a complementary role and further strengthen all-round and in-depth exchanges and cooperation in the brand field, carry out targeted research in fields such as globalization, and jointly promote the steady and long-term development of national auto brands.

Under the guidance of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council and the State Administration for Market Regulation, China Automobile Technology and Research Center led industry organizations, university experts, and national brand car companies to launch the "National Auto Brand Upward Plan" to explore the path, mechanism and method of national auto brand improvement, carry out research work and devote to promoting the upward development of national automobile brands.
