August 29, 2022, Zhejiang, China, On August 28, Geely New Energy Commercial Vehicles announced at the Innovation Ecology Conference that the technology parent, Homtruck, will be launched in small batches by the end of 2023. The new vehicle will be equipped with two power chains including methanol-extended electric drive axle and multi-motor central electric drive to achieve a breakthrough in the transportation distance of 1000km for new energy heavy trucks.
 

Among them, the i-MPS multi-motor flexible torque central electric drive power chain is the world's first patented technology for Geely's New Energy Commercial Vehicles. It consists of four independent motors that "understand algorithms", which can realize flexible combination and efficient coordination. This exclusive leading technology can realize 16 working modes.
