July 30, 2021, Zhengzhou, China, The flood prevention situation is still severe since Henan suffered from the heavy rainstorm. On the afternoon of July 27, SAIC MAXUS delivered 40 units emergency rescue vehicles to Henan charity federation in Zhengzhou. The vehicles include 20 units SAIC MAXUS V80 negative pressure ambulances and 20 units SAIC MAXUS T70 4-wheel drive pickups.
Among the 40 units vehicles, 20 units V80 negative pressure ambulances were distributed to Henan Provincial People’s Hospital and Zhengzhou Central Hospital to support local emergency medical rescue; and 20 units T70 4-wheel drive pickups were distributed to Zhengzhou flood prevention headquarter, police offices and other worst-hit areas to serve in supply transportation and post-disaster reconstruction.
During the fight against flood, SAIC MAXUS responded immediately and urgently contacted manufacturers, logistics and front areas to provide assistance timely. Through coordination of different parties, SAIC MAXUS worked around the clock to ensure the offline of 40 units emergency vehicles and deployed logistics and drivers to finish the delivery to Henan.
