R Series

High Power, Low Fuel Consumption

The R series engine is characterized by high power, large torque, low fuel consumption and low noise. Using world advanced technologies of overhead camshaft, four valves per cylinder, variable geometry turbocharger (VNT), etc., the R series meets the China Ⅳ and China Ⅴ emissions regulations. The R series is a preferred diesel engine for high-quality light-duty trucks in China.

The R series engine was introduced from the namesake product of the Italian VM company, which is well known for high power and excellent performance in the European market. Applied to light-duty truck, the engine consumes fuel per 100 km 4-liter less than others of its competitors, considerably reducing operation cost.
