Yuchai attends China International Internal Combustion Engine and Power Expo

On October 11, the three-day 2024 China International Internal Combustion Engine and Power Equipment Expo (hereinafter referred to as the Power Expo) opened in Beijing. The diesel engines that meet the four-stage fuel consumption, high-horsepower gas engines, and the methanol engine with the largest displacement in China developed and manufactured by Yuchai made a brilliant appearance, demonstrating Yuchai's innovative achievements in technological breakthroughs in both traditional power and new energy power.
At this exhibition, Yuchai exhibited the National VI second-generation products YCK09L and YCY25 diesel engines. This series of products can fully meet the fourth-stage fuel consumption standards.
In terms of gas power, the Yuchai YCK15N high-horsepower gas engine on display represents the highest level in the current gas engine field. It adopts the first domestic application of TOP-DOWN cooling system, anti-icing thermal management patented technology, the industry's highest tensile strength cylinder head material and other advanced technologies, which greatly improves product reliability. The low-temperature start of minus 40 degrees also creates the world's best level of extreme low-temperature natural start of gas engines. While maintaining high reliability, it also has the lowest gas consumption performance in the industry, with an average gas consumption 6% lower than that of competing products. Based on an annual mileage of 200,000 kilometers, it can save nearly 20,000 yuan in fuel costs.
The YCK16 engine exhibited on site is a professional high-end power carefully built by Yuchai for mining vehicles, heavy excavators, oil equipment, and large agricultural equipment. The engine has a displacement of 16L and a power range of 560 to 775 horsepower. It adopts a platform-based, modular, and lightweight design concept. It is high-end in quality, reliable and durable. The reliable life of the engine exceeds 30,000 hours. It can be adapted to large-scale engineering machinery such as mining vehicles with a total weight of 105 to 130 tons, heavy excavators of 70 to 95 tons, and oilfield equipment, and has strong market competitiveness. Yuchai YC12VTD power generation adopts high-pressure common rail technology, which has the advantages of light weight, compact structure, low fuel consumption, strong power, and fast sudden response. It has been well received in the market and its products are sold far and wide at home and abroad.
Yuchai's new energy power products have also attracted much attention, including China's first commercial vehicle hydrogen engine K05H, the country's largest displacement methanol engine YCK15M, the country's leading fuel cell system in durability and safety, the country's highest power-to-weight ratio pure electric heavy-duty truck drive system, eCVT hybrid power system, and extended-range power system.
During the period, Yuchai won the 30th Anniversary Outstanding Contribution Award, the highest honor of the Power Expo, for its outstanding performance in product innovation and industry development. At the same time, Yuchai's YCK15N high-horsepower gas engine won the Best Innovative Power Star Award for its excellent quality.
