October 8, 2023, China, Recently, ZTO Express received the successful delivery of 20 Dongfeng Tianlong flagship KX trucks equipped with Cummins Integrated Powertrain in Yangzhou, empowering efficient and low-carbon cold chain transportation for their customers.
ZTO Express specializes in cold chain logistics, handling frozen and refrigerated goods. The vehicles delivered this time consist of 20 6x4 Dongfeng Tianlong flagship KX trucks, featuring the Cummins Integrated Powertrain composed of the Cummins Z14 520-horsepower engine and the Eaton Cummins Endurant AMT transmission.
Cummins Integrated Powertrain utilizes a three-in-one closed-loop control system, allowing deep interaction between the engine, transmission, and aftertreatment system to achieve a balance between power and fuel consumption. In terms of maintenance, the engine requires an oil change every 100,000 kilometers, while the transmission needs an oil change every 600,000 kilometers (or 5 years), with only 7.5 liters of fuel consumption, truly saving money for customers and ensuring high efficiency.
