August 30, 2023, Xinjiang, China, On August 22nd, the signing ceremony for a strategic cooperation agreement between Farizon New Energy Commercial Vehicle Group and Xinjiang Qunhui Logistics and Transport Co., Ltd. was held in Urumqi, Xinjiang. Under the strategic cooperation framework agreement, Farizon will deliver 800 units of methanol hydrogen heavy trucks to Xinjiang Qunhui Logistics in batches, providing vehicle after-sales services and assisting in establishing methanol refueling facilities to support external coal transportation in Xinjiang.
Leveraging the 18 years of technical accumulation in the field of methanol by Geely, Farizon has successfully overcome industry challenges related to methanol engine components' compatibility and durability. They have developed various models of methanol hydrogen heavy trucks, including tractor units, dump trucks, and double-trailer truck trains. These products cover various scenarios such as general cargo transportation, hazardous material transportation, urban construction waste transportation, mining site transportation, and container transportation. Farizon methanol hydrogen heavy trucks have been put into use in multiple provinces such as Xinjiang, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Shaanxi, and Gansu, receiving wide recognition in the market for their economic, reliable, and safe advantages.

Through this strategic cooperation with Xinjiang Qunhui Logistics, Farizon will further enhance its existing refueling station layout. Building upon existing refueling stations in places like Hami, Xinjiang, and Yumen, Gansu, Farizon will also establish a refueling station in Tianpeng, Qinghai, in the future, promoting the healthy development of green methanol transportation capacity in the northwest region.
