SANY 50-Ton All-Electric Truck Crane Enters Service

August 23,2023

August 23, 2023, China, Recently, at the construction site of the Xiangluzhou Bridge project in Changsha, a SANY STC500BEV all-electric truck crane has been operating at full throttle.
The STC500BEV is the industry's first all-electric truck crane in the 50-ton class. It is equipped with high-performance batteries and a high-power electric motor, providing robust overall power. This crane can achieve zero-emission driving and operation, supporting all-electric operations for over two work shifts. Additionally, it supports external plug-in power supply operation, effectively meeting low operation cost and stringent environmental requirements in some regions.

The STC500BEV is primarily responsible for steel structure installation and disassembly, as well as loading and unloading. It is well-suited for various working conditions, with operation and usage being no different from traditional fuel-powered vehicles. However, the entire lifting process is nearly silent, offering a comfortable experience. The noise level during operation of the all-electric truck crane is significantly reduced, not only decreasing disruption to workers and nearby residents but also enhancing the construction site environment.

All-electric cranes do not rely on traditional fuel power sources, operating solely on electricity. This greatly reduces pollution generated during crane operation and aligns with the principles of sustainable development.

On the path to achieving "dual carbon" goals, more and more projects are driving energy transition and promoting green development, contributing to the creation of a beautiful China with everlasting green mountains, flowing rivers, and fresh air.
