September 2, 2022, Shandong, China, On September 1, the strategic cooperation signing ceremony of Weichai hydrogen fuel cell commercial vehicle was held in Weifang, Shandong. Following the operation of 200 units hydrogen fuel cell commercial vehicles on August 27, Weichai once again signed a large order for 1,100 units.
 

At the meeting, Weichai and Sinotruk signed strategic cooperation agreements with Qingdao Shengtonghua Co., Ltd., Zibo Zhanhong Automobile Co., Ltd., Tongxinzhixing Logistics Technology Co., Ltd. etc. All parties have reached a consensus on the promotion of hydrogen fuel cells in the field of commercial vehicles, and accelerate the large-scale commercial application in logistics and transportation scenarios. Through strong alliances, all parties will promote the rapid development of the hydrogen fuel cell commercial vehicle industry and contribute to the realization of "dual carbon" goals.

The 1,100 units commercial vehicles include 4.5-ton urban logistics vehicles, 18-ton logistics vehicles, and 49-ton tractors, and are equipped with Weichai hydrogen fuel cells, which have a power capacity of 50-200kW, and have the characteristics of zero-carbon, high comfort, safety and reliability, and can meet the needs of various complex working conditions such as long operation hours and low temperature.
