July 26,2022

July 26, 2022, Tianjin, China, Recently, Tianjin Nangang Ethylene Project held the first large-scale equipment hoisting and HSE observation activity. XCMG's 4,000-ton crawler crane XGC88000 successfully hoisted No. 2 propylene tower into place, marking the key project of the "14th Five-Year Plan" - Tianjin Nangang High-end New Materials Project has entered a new stage. The No. 2 propylene tower has a diameter of 8.2 meters, a height of 106 meters, and a total equipment weight of 1,800 tons. It is the tallest and heaviest vertical equipment in the entire project.

At the scene, XGC88000 crawler crane adopts the single-host lifting and delivery method, which perfectly cooperates with the operator. It can work with a load of 1,800 tons, hoist smoothly, and place it accurately without pressure, and the lifting task is completed ahead of time.

Tianjin Nangang high-end new material project cluster in which XGC88000 crawler crane participated is a major action by the state to promote the coordinated development strategy of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei and build a world-class green chemical new material base during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period. The completion of the project will further promote the transformation and upgrading of the traditional petrochemical industry to high-end, intelligent, green and integrated.

XGC88000 crawler crane is a pillar of a great power carrying Chinese technology, Chinese manufacturing and Chinese engineering. It has successively won many large-scale key projects at home and abroad, with a total hoisting weight of nearly 200,000 tons and a total safety work time of over 10,000 hours.

In the future, XCMG will continue to perform its duty, adhere to high-quality development and provide a solid guarantee for global engineering construction.
