June 30, 2022, Tanzania, At the Julius Nyerere hydropower station project site, the largest hydropower station in East Africa, 9 units XCMG cranes have been working for one and a half years.
 

With a total investment of more than 2.8 billion US dollars, the hydropower station is excavated in the primitive African savannah, where XCMG cranes face severe working conditions.

As the main hoisting force, XCMG customized and upgraded the cranes according to local working conditions in Africa. 7 units XCA60_E, adopting the world's first large-load single wishbone independent suspension technology, have high flexibility in hoist, transition, and climb and high efficiency to complete the hoisting work.

Due to the good performance of XCA60_E, the customer purchased another 2 units XCA130L7 and XCA200 for the project.
 

During the one and a half years on site, the 9 units XCMG cranes kept working continuously, and the working hours all exceeded 3,000 hours. For this purpose, the project party sent a letter of thanks to XCMG in China.
