June 13, 2022, Inner Mongolia, China, On June 8, the delivery ceremony of SAIC Hongyan pure electric mining trucks was held in the large open-pit mine in Ordos.
 

The pure electric mining truck delivered not only has the advantages of "maximum load capacity, strongest power, and longest battery life", but also has strength in intelligence, which can significantly improve the transportation efficiency and contribute to the development of the mining area.

The 150-ton pure electric mining truck integrates an intelligent control module, which can simulate and calculate the complex road conditions in the mining area; the whole vehicle-grade hardware realizes a comprehensive emergency hedging strategy and improves driving safety; in addition, the pure electric mining truck also can realize functions such as remote autonomous driving, optimal route planning, and automatic power exchange, fully meeting the transportation needs of open-pit mines.
 

SAIC Hongyan has optimized the design of the mining truck specifically for the mining scene. In terms of power, it adopts a dual-motor drive system with the peak power of 700kw (equivalent to 950 horsepower) and a maximum output torque of 4800Nm; In terms of battery life, the efficient and intelligent energy recovery algorithm is adopted, and the braking energy recovery efficiency is high, which can greatly increase the cruising range of the vehicle; and in terms of carrying capacity, the pure electric mining truck can carry a total weight of 150 tons of vehicle and cargo, which can effectively help the rapid development of the mining area.
