December 23,2021

The delivered trucks are equipped with lithium iron phosphate battery self-developed by BYD. In addition, its excellent control system and multiple innovative functions as well as high comfort and high safety make it easy to serve in urban delivery with zero emission.
Rodrigo Albuquerque, logistics executive director of Grupo Modelo, noted, “We plan to own an electric logistics transportation fleet consisting of 500 units trucks in two years. In 2022, we will purchase another 30 units electric trucks and 20 units electric forklifts. It is a part of group strategy to purchase electric heavy-duty truck fleet from BYD, which made us become the first company to own electric heavy-duty fleet in Mexico. Compared with diesel trucks, electric trucks decrease carbon dioxide emission largely and bring us huge environmental benefit.”

In the future, BYD will continue to explore new energy transportation field, promote global green logistics transportation system construction and speed up the realization of zero emission in logistics transportation with new energy technology.
